My personal favorite car of all time is the 1969 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Roundtail, so when I read about the new, limited edition Alfa Spider, I just had to provide our readers with a review and the latest images. Enjoy!
As if its elegant dynamics and sophisticated driving experience weren’t enough reasons to purchase Alfa Romeo’s Alfa Spider, the veteran Italian manufacturer gives motoring enthusiasts even more with a new feature-packed Limited Edition model that retails for the same price as the original - slightly above US$50,000.
Extras in this Europe-only release include heated seats wrapped in Italian Frau leather, Alfa Romeo’s proprietary Blue&Me™ hands-free system with voice recognition and media player, bold 19-inch alloy rims, and a choice of four color combinations.
Like its regular cousin, engine power remains the same, with a reasonably impressive 0 – 62mph (0–100 km/h) time of 8.8 seconds, and a top speed of 139 mph (or more than 220 km/h).
